Why Terms of Use (TOU) are so Important

I hate when I download someone's designs and there are no TOUs (Terms of Use) in the zip file. Now some people would just do whatever they wanted with it, reasoning "If they wanted to restrict it, they would supply their TOU".

I don't do that. I hunt them down to the ends of the earth to ask their TOU lol. This is important to me, both as someone who finds great freebies, and someone who is a designer. I don't want someone doing whatever they want with my design (unless that WAS my TOU).

To me the TOU is the most important thing in the zip. Your designs are just that. YOURS. You say how we can use them. I look for that TOU, so I follow it correctly. Just because you get it free (Legally, from their blog or store) doesn't mean you can do whatever you want with it.

There are designers who say do whatever you want with them. Others don't, or can't say that because of the designer resources they use, or because that isn't what they want done with their designs. Their designs, their choice.

Me, I can't draw a straight line with a ruler lol, so I use lovely designers of others to create things. I appreciate what others share a lot, since they have great talent in designing.

Choo Choo CU Blog Train-Cool Scraps Digital

I joined a blog train, everything in it is CU-Commercial Use! How awesome is that! Very handy to add to your stash of CU items.

I was in an Irish mood, and made a few things you can use. There are 12 elements, not 11. I found something else I had made and didn't redo my preview.

More freebies, with a twist!

I've got more Facebook Header freebies, and I did something different this time.

I was in an Irish mood, and used a cute kit from Randy's Sin called Sassie Lassie. I am having so much fun with this kit.
It is on sale, half off, only $2! It's avalable in Tagger Size or Full Size.

I made two versions of this header. One that you can use as is, and one that has space to put your own picture in.
I know some people like to have a more personalized Facebook header.

I haven't been able to be as active in designs the past few months. Life has been chaotic.

Got Some Mojo!

Winter is definitely here! We haven't gotten much snow yet-about 6 inches-but I am sure it is coming. It is cold today!

I was inspired to make a new blog header when I saw this beautiful free frame from Rocking K Scraps (I am not their one of their CT but I really wanted to use it!).

I also used a matching Freebie Wordart from Amy's Scrappin' Memories. I would definitely visit their blogs for their awesome freebies.
